Our Customer Stories

Kasirye | Private water vender

Before installing the SUNDA System, my water attendant was giving me much less money than I should have been earning. For example, a full water tank should bring in 50,000 UGX, but I would only receive 25,000, sometimes 30,000, and at best 40,000 UGX , never the full amount.

With SUNDA, that problem is completely solved. I now receive all my money securely, with no losses. The system has eliminated all my non-revenue water issues and given me full control over my income.

Lilian | Private water vender

Before SUNDA, I never really knew how much profit I was making from my water vending business. The daily cash I collected often went straight into household and other unnecessary expenses, so I couldn’t track or realize my true earnings. On top of that, my attendant was unreliable, he could wake up one day, decide not to work, and even quit altogether to find another job, leaving the business unattended and bringing everything to a standstill.

With SUNDA, everything changed. Now, I receive a lump sum directly to my Mobile Money account every month, which makes it easy to see exactly how much profit I’ve made. I can also comfortably pay the attendant and keep the business running smoothly.

SUNDA also comes with a dashboard that allows me to monitor water sales and revenue in real time, so I’m always in control and aware of how my business is performing.

Kato James | Caretaker of a hand pump

I am responsible for managing the hand pump in my village. Previously, whenever it broke down, access to water was disrupted, and I had to go door-to-door to collect water fees from each household, which was very challenging.

However, since implementing the SUNDA system, each villager contributes a small amount for water, which quickly accumulates to cover any necessary repairs.

Thanks to SUNDA, we no longer have to worry about water supply. It is truly a convenient and reliable system.
